In May 2023, after the second year in a row where my spring storm chasing trip was cancelled, I decided to fly to Denver anyway and photograph grain elevators (and other things) in eastern Colorado and Kansas. I have been photographing grain elevators on the Canadian Prairies for over 10 years, and it was really fun to visit and photograph elevators in the Midwest - some of which looked very much like the ones in the Canadian Prairies, and many of which were so very much different.
